Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) (Refer Job: USMC-GA-005)

An Oracle DBA is sought to provide project management for Information Technology (IT) support services to customers at Headquarters Marine Corps Logistics Command, Command, Control, Communications and Computers (HQ MARCORLOGCOM, C4), ESD and LSD. This professional must have Oracle 10g and 11g, Enterprise Manager (OEM), OAS, Weblogic, SSO, SQL skills. The candidate must have managed Oracle on Unix based servers (Red Hat Linux, SUN, HP-UX, and VMWare). Database recovery using RMAN, performance monitoring, and clustering (RAC) are required skills.

Require: Master of Science degree plus at least 4 years of business management experience or Bachelor of Science degree plus at least 6 years of database management experience in Oracle. The candidate must demonstrate a career history with increasing responsibility and project management experience. The candidate must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Must be willing to provide support over the phone during after hours and weekends.
